Meet Flapjack who has Swimmer's Syndrome. The legs of puppies and kittens with Swimmer's Syndrome are splayed to the sides. They are unable to stand and lay on their chests. When they walk across the floor they appear to be swimming like a turtle. Swimmer's Syndrome is correctable with physical therapy and environmental adjustments. Dr. Loeser says Flapjack is improving with his physical therapy modalities and the loving care of his foster mom.
